Default Lightweight flywheel or Motordyne Plenum Spacer?

I was wanting to buy an ACT prolite flywheel and a Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer, but I decided to just pick one. There isn't much of a difference in price between the two. So which one would help me the most, and in which areas?

+1 I would go spacer, the lessened mass of the flywheel helps, but I would rate the spacer higher. Not to mention easier...lol

Just making sure you know that with that spacer you aren't fitting the stock strut bar on, ethier way I'd go with the spacer.

I am not sure where you attained your information, but you are incorrect.

isnt much difference in price? the flywheel is like twice the price of the 5/16th inch spacer...but yeah do the spacer, unless your clutch is burnt up & needs to get replaced anyhow.

I'd get the flywheel personally. The spacer would give a power increase, but the lighter flywheel would show a power increase and allow the car to rev faster - get into the powerband faster. Between a flywheel and a spacer, I'd say the flywheel is going to give you more bang, but it's a bit more expensive. You might want to do it when you need to replace the clutch, like others have said.

Correct. You can use your stock strut bar with it.

thanks my friends at motordyne. I picked your product over the new one that intensepower came out with, it seems more reliable.

Honestly, if you don't mind the cost I'd go for the flywheel. The improvement will be very noticeable.

Can you even use the stock clutch with an ACT flywheel?

+1 on flywheel install. IMO, it would be a waste to get a flywheel installed without getting an aftermarket clutch

If you live in Buffalo NY, there is no question you should get the Copper version.

I was gonna get the spacer, but I got a CF Seibon Front Lip TT Style today. Next mod is most likely going to be the spacer.
