I'm sorry, but I'm a JUN freak and I'm going to wait for these guys to come out with some titanium valve retainers and springs.

On a different note, Kyle, can you purchase an OS Giken clutch seperately, or is it still only available as a set?

damn, seeing what comes out in the next couple years is really going to be fun. Imagine new cams/retainers/springs, combined wi/ top secret's stage II NA kit. Now you're talking serious power, NA (competition for the FI guys).

Maybe i should just save up a LONG time and swap in a rb26....

Is that a quote for this new motor? I would have figured that too but I have been quoted 21 hours for install by my fathers dealership. So I need to double check with them or I am holding you to this quote! They say you have to pull almost the whole motor apart. The pan is 3 pieces and you have to remove them to get access to the covers over the cams. Ridiculous. Let me know if 8 hours is what you think it should be or what you will really charge for this. I'll drive to Houston.

I heard WOLF is making the cams for NISMO that will produce about 15hp and then WOLF is making their own cams that will be better then the NISMO ones.

We have been running at 7250 RPM....... no problem (knock on wood)
As far as the cams go............its the ECU that makes them come alive.
Thanks

OS Giken Japan brought it out at a low price and had probelms with the first design. So they redesigned it and used better materials...so the price went up .

Goto www.nissanperformancemag.com . I believe the May, June, and July issues have great articles dealing with Cams. They explain what it means to have som much duration, lift, overlap, etc.
