Default NISMO clutch install will void warranty

Okay, so here's the latest in the unfolding drama of my clutch problems.

The dealer is refusing to replace my clutch under warranty and gave me a price for both NISMO and stock parts...NISMO is actually cheaper, but get this: They say the NISMO parts will VOID the warranty (what little there is) on the clutch (against say a blow seal)!

Comments?

haha, that's what I told the advisor on the phone. He explained that it would void the warranty on the entire clutch system...so I guess if any of the hydraulic parts went out or a seal leaked that I'd be screwed (again).

I find that hard to believe since it's a Nissan part...

Ah, I see. Thanks for the help.

Here's the deal...I'm prepping to sell the Z (time to buy a house), so here's my choices:

1. Buy stock parts, dealer install, stays under warranty.
2. Buy NISMO parts, dealer install, only clutch loses warranty
3. Buy aftermarket parts, non-dealer install, save $$$, lose warranty.

What would YOU do?
