i have a 2003 and I am having to have the transmission replaced. I want to go aftermarket but the dealership said that i would have to get a clutch disc made for the newer engines and keep the pressure plate and flywheel for the vq because they are giving me a series 009 transmission. Does this sound correct thanks ahead of time for your answers.

 

Sounds like there trying to get u to buy a clutch also. I have a 04 that had a tranny replaced the the 009 model also and they used the old clutch with no problems.


Dont let them scam u. Unless u need a clutch already. Even if u do get it from somewhere else cause they will *** rape you on the price of the parts.

 

right but they already know that i am buying everything after market and he said that the 009 mounts differently then the older models
