Default Help with burning smell

Hey guys I wanted to see if i can get some help before I bring my car to the shop. First of all, my car is equipped with the Vortech and HKS exhaust. 10 days ago, I drove the car hard which left me with a strong burning smell. I immediately thought of it as being my clutch, so did not think much of it. Days go by and after driving my car every single time, I get that burning smell again. I am not driving the car hard by any means, it is normal driving now, but I still get the smell. I checked underneath and there are no bags or plastic causing the smell.

It seems to be coming from the engine bay area..so I disconnected the cog belt and drove around to see if it might be the vortech. Well, the smell remained even then. So what are some possible reasons for this? Could it still be my clutch after so many days? I figured if I had some oil residue in the engine bay area it might cause the smell, but not after so many days. I smell it primarily on the driver side of the car. I cannot say for sure it is coming from the engine bay, could be under the car, but it is hard to determine that. I just smell it all around the car every time I park. Could I have possibly scraped something causing my exhaust to leak? I do not believe that causes a burning smell though. Any advice would be great, thanks.

If its kinda like a foul type odor......you probably fried your stock clutch.

Well driving my clutch normally around the city is perfectly fine. If I did fry my clutch, does the burning smell return every time I drive? Because that seems to be what is happening..

We need History-Mileage ---If your clutch is going , it is slipping, and if it is slipping you,re going to smell it.

usually when clutches start to go they go fast. I wouldn't be suprised when you update this in a week or two saying it is slipping now. Order a new one, get more power out of your car and call it a day.
