Hey All-
Found a link around a week ago by chance that talked about modifying the AT shifter to upshift when you pull back and downshift when you push the stick forward. (opposite from what it does stock) I think it might've been a G35 mod, but my other computer is dead and the webpage saved on it is gone. Tried to search, but still can't find it, (I think it was a page inside another thread). A couple questions...Has anyone seen that link/page? Or has anyone tired that on theirs? I goofed around with it last weekend, but couldn't really figure out. It involved disassembling one of the connectors and swapping 2 pins. Like I said, I'm interested, but had some trouble identifying the 2 pins to swap. After swapping the 2 pins I guessed were the right ones with my limited schematics reading skills, nothing changed, so those 2 were wrong. Any help would be great...
Thanks and regards
Todd

what would be the point? I would assume after a couple weeks or months of driving it would become second nature to pull down to downshift and up to upshift like it is stock... the only time i see this being an issue is if you're a lifelong manual driver who's just gotten a auto...

Ya, Ya, there's always gotta be one in the crowd. I wasn't asking your opinion on if I should do it or not, only that I was looking for the thread. But to amuse you, have you ever accidently turned your wipers on when making a right turn? I've had the same type thing happen in manual mode and IF it down shifted by pushing forward vice back, it would'nt happen. Worth trying anyway. Surprised you didn't throw out the "you should've bought a manual then". I will say thanks to redlude though: Thank you! That was exactly the one I was looking for. Thanks for your help!
