there are 3 small bolts on the tip that will need to be unscrewed, the silencer just slides out. make sure you get the exhaust installed with a spacer or modify the hangers so you don't get your bumper burned like mine did and the rest of the comunity.

Thanks, i tried to remove the silencer with the screws and tip removed, but that thing is in there tight, i used wd40 and it still does not want to come off, on the bumper note we just folded the center and used self taping screws to hold it, Thanks for replying.

Get a couple of vice grips and put a towl over the little pipe the gases escape out of (not the bell shaped part). Clamp opposite sides with the vice grips over the towel on the pipe and pull out. I had this problem with a topspeed exhaust before (left exit) and this method worked all the time. It'll never "fix" itself, though, so carry the tools around.

Putting it in is also a b1tch. You need to put them in, but you have to align it just right for the holes to land. At a certain point, you won't be able to put it in without messing up the alignment. Just get the holes to kind of match up, then use a thin flat head and move it all around to get the holes to line up.

Thanks again, one more quick question. Having the silencer on, will it kill HP? Thanks.

You lose power from mid range to the top, but you'll gain a little bit of torque in the lower RPMs.

I only took out the silencer to race at the track. Otherwise, I always left it on since the Topspeed exhaust was way too damn loud.

i removed mine after a few days and never looked back. I thought the sound was better plus the power gains.

You will have more overall power/torque with the silencer out. The sound is subjective, so that's all on you (with silencer in or out).
