So I finally had my first AutoX w/ the new LSD - it was great! It was a little wet and cold, but the surface was 90% dry. It was very easy to put down power and felt very predictable and linear. There were a few places I had the rear end walking out, but that was more of my heavy foot and cold tires.
In all, I'm very pleased with this LSD - I've got a ProSolo event in 2 weeks, so it'll be fun to see how it does off the line!
Specs on the car:
SCCA BSP 350Z
Lowered 2.5"
Tire: Hoosier A6
Front: 295/30/18
Rear: 315/30/18

update:
3rd time changing fluids on the diff...it's seen less than 2,000 miles since installed (most of those are miles to/from autoX events)
*a good tip I read in the DIY portion...make sure the top filler bolt can be removed before draining the oil - there's a lot of heat back there and those bolts can seize.
look at how much metallic stuff is in there!
after draining the fluid, I flush it out w/ a bit of new oil...
here's what I use:
All-in-all, I love this new LSD. It's been performing very well and I'm accustomed to driving it on the street...I kinda like how it chirps the tires going around tight corners at low speeds - cause the only ppl who understand what's going on are other car nutz

Excellent writeup on both threads. Do you have any further findings on the Cusco RS 1.5 at 80% lock? Really interested to hear any more results / concerns. Thanks in advance...
