If you put me on the non stock n/a list, I would be #3.

That run was with my leaky exhaust and crappy aem intakes. The new runs this year so far have netted me 13.079@108.90 mph wiht a 1.9 60'
I will decimate all the n/a DE times this season. Except for the build block n/a. But hey you never know what will come out for the HR this year

Aceman's Z is probably one of the strongest and fastest n/a DE on this board. Most of his mods were all self done by him. Hope to line up against him on our track day Im sure well line up like 20 times! Can't wait!

This argument on which Z is faster is pretty pointless. At the end of day we all drive the same cars and as long as everyone is happy lets just have a big group hug!

No joke at all. Yes I do understand the times and what I'm looking at. The question is, do YOU understand what you're looking at? You shouldn't buy in to all the HR hype. A bolton HR is no 'stronger' than a bolton DE. :-)

If you feel otherwise, then by all means please present your case with VERIFIABLE FACTS like I have done. Thanks~ :-)

Keyword: "bolt on"

For HR, engine-wise only exhaust is available.

Don't forget intake and cams are also available for the HR, along with little things like catch-cans,grounding, etc... But I'm actually surprised Nismo hasn't come out with headers & other stuff for the HR yet. True the HR already has equal length headers from the factory, but they're like half the diameter of after market headers.

The big break for the HR will be when they figure out how to tune it... Which I hear UpRev is pretty close.

"I see your schwartz is as big as mine."

seriously...HR owns, and once the aftermarket catches up it will be dirty.

Technosquare reflash is almost out too, probably closer than UpRev. Probably see some 300whp dyno's showing up pretty soon.

I have a VQ35DE and i have no problem at all admitting that the VQ35HR is a more superior engine.

You honestly dont know what youre lookin at either. Those in the HR non stock n/a times, besides me, all they have is exhaust or intake or non stock tires. Thats why they made it on that list. I believe im the only one on that list that has 2-3 mods.
The 2 DE's that have quicker times then me are heavily modded, tuned, and both of them 300+ rwhp
Since the track just opened up give me a month for me to be #2 on that n/a list right below jeremy's car.
And only mods I have is exhaust, k&n filters, gears, and DR's
Compared to a built motor, I think we can conclude which one has more potential.

Owns? How so? It doesn't 'own' in the drag slip forum, it doesn't 'own' on any bolton dynos I've seen, it doesn't 'own' on the street either. If the HR is so much better, you shouldn't have any problem pointing out where it is so much better with verifiable facts. Thanks for the help. :-)

Here's my latest DE bolton dyno for your reference. 285/252.

Your arguing a losing argument. With your own posted evidence you can be pwned. If you compare stock for stock the HR does edge out the DE. The only reason the Bolt-on DE's have lower times is the fact that they were much more modified than Jon's car which is so far the most modified HR that we have track info on. As soon as new boltons are developed and a tune is available I would bet that the top bolt on time will be an HR too. You also have to compare the number of HRs that have been tracked compared to DEs and the number of times that they have been run down the track. Let it go, its technological progression. In a few years the HR will be the Old guy... thats the way the auto industry works. No need to fight or flame we are still all Z guys at the end of the day.

you really cant compared 1 dyno to another. Unless the cars you are comparing were dynoed ont he sam machine on the same day its really irrelevent. Please stop makin stupid generalizations. Im not here to say that my HR is better. Im just here to say your arguments are dumb

285 hp from a DE? Umm no. And that graph obviously had issues near the top of the band. I wouldn't trust one so erratic.

My DE dynoed 255 hp and 248 TQ for a REV-UP with many bolt ons and it dynoed more than most other DEs on that same day.

Again, the HR runs stock faster than MOST bolt on DE's. You obviously are butt hurt because you bought a 06.

I have owned every VQ series engine car that Nissan has made since the release, and the HR is superior of all the older ones.

You just proved nothin from this post. Please lookat the mod list on those DE motors compared to what I have done to my car. Those other 2 HR's only had intakes.
You should bring out the top stock HR times if you want to have more comparison on the track guys. The stock times beat out just about everyone on the bolt-on de list.
And like I said I went to the track last week and ran a 13.079@108.90mph with a 1.9 60' That was with me wheel hoppin through first gear.

Like davidV always says, "Where's your timeslips?"

Wow you are really stupid.

You just proved a Stock HR is faster than 2 of the most bolt on DE's you can find. Impressive, you just owned yourself.

You have YET to show where the DE is superior to the HR. Wake up from that dream world.

PS, where is your timeslip? lol

I've proven several times now that the HR is not "far superior" to the DE. Where's your proof that it is? Lol~ :-)
