Default 100 octane tune NA

will a map tuned for 100 octane provide noticeable gains over 93 octane tune on a na care with bolt-ons? Or is it more for reducing knock?

do it and see. ya running an interceptor/piggyback like Utec? no custom maps available from Cobb just yet, I doubt a reflash & tune for 100 oct will do much.

I have a 100 oct map. At the track it makes a noticable difference.

yes SC tunes Osiris... I have a separate map for race gas (tuned with 105)... it dynos higher, but honestly it doesn’t seem much faster... I've only run once at the track with the new tune and race gas... "feels" similar to 91 performance tune... unfortunately I haven’t run back to back with 91 & 100+ octane so it's really hard to say.

The only reasonable way to tune with high octane is with Osiris so you can switch maps for the track and daily driving... if you are tuning one map only, it would be real expensive to always use high octane...

So when using Osiris, you might as well have one of the maps tuned on race gas - there’s no downside, even if the benefit is slim to none.

BTW - the tune won’t reduce knock... it more aggressive timing and if anything will cause knock if you don’t use high enough octane... so if you are tuned for 100+ you better make sure you are always using high octane (at least while in that map)... of course if you are tuned for 91 or 93 using higher octane won’t hurt (won’t help either though)...
