3.7 final in a Auto diff.?
I was look on some website ( i dont remember where) but the way i took it is that you could fit a 3.7 final drive in the auto pumkin but you can't fit the 3.9 final drive in the pumkin... is this right??

i switched to a manual pumpkin when i went to the 3.5, because i was under the impression that u had to switch to a manual pumpkin in order to do the 3.7 final drive or the 3.9. i would just switch to a manual pumpkin with someone who wants the 3.3 gears, its a free trade, and then you can always go to shorter gears whenever you want
yeah i just cant seem anybody that wants to trade with the miles i have. everybody that wants to trade wants low miles and i have an 03 with
35,XXX.. i cant find any wrecked Z's that want them for cheap and the dealer wants like 1k for them...

the pumpkin won't matter but the differential will... I have AT with 3.7 and Quiafe in the original pumpkin... if you get MT diff you will (should) be fine - the gear is thicker on the 3.3 so you will need a spacer or MT differential. If you are swapping with an MT anyway it won’t matter... if you are getting aftermarket LSD you can keep you pumpkin and install your new ring & pinion and diff.
