Default Cosworth Builds N/A 400Bhp VQ

I just wanted to share that Cosworth has entered the Castrol Syntec Top Shop contest with the VQ. They plan to build the Engine with off the shelf Cosworth parts to achieve the 400Bhp and the best part is they are GIVING the motor away . To enter to win this motor the site is www.SyntecTopShop.com.:)

Edit: site not up yet..it sent me to www.castolsyntec.com...Sorry.

After reading the article, Cosworth has plans to have at least a 11:1 compression engine on 100 octane fuel. SCC will be giving updates through their magazine.

The article just states a "VQ" thats all. Either way it is going to be a challenge.

The article does show a picture of the VQ35de but that probably has nothing to do with it...maybe Cosworth will do both....they got deep pockets.

A high compression(12:1) 4.3 liter stroker should do it.

4.3 liter? lol. there are VQ race engines with ITB's that make that much power with 3.5 liters...there are some pretty wild N/A VQ35DE's out there...just hard to find information on em since theyre all in race cars.

I think you would find them all in Japan...Super Taikyu series Z have some pretty crazy N/A engines. But if Cosworth pulls this off there will be more Z here with them.
