I've been searching for the last hour with no result hopefully someone here has run into this problem or might know what could cause this issue. Please chime in I'm dying here.
Just installed JWT Clutch and flywheel combo. Everything was put in to spec according to paper work and was done by my roomate who is a mechanic. After the Install we did a test drive and in Low RPMS or while the car is Idle there is loud noise that almost sounds like a car going in reverse or a tractor. It is very loud when you are leting go of the clutch in first gear as well as all other gears in low rpm but once you get over 3 or 4k the sound goes away but comes back as soon as you drop back down to the lower rpms.
We have been trying to figure this out with no idea what it could be. It almost sounds like it could be coming from the Transmission but nothing was altered or changed to screw anything up in there.
Please if anyone can help or has had this problem before could you please post?
FYI: changed out the Trans fluid to 75w90 GL5 Mobile 1 . Also replaced the Slave and Master clutch cylinders since car has roughly 60K miles on it. Figured we'd switch out all the hydrolics to be safe. All flywheel and clutch bolts were torqued down to spec, all bolts back in place.
Any other questions please comment and I'll respond as quickly as possible.
*Edit* Just got a code for the 2nd cylinder misfireing for some reason as well? wtf
Any help is greatly appreciated.

LOL You remind me of myself when I first got it. I was panicking also. Welcome to the world of "FLYWHEEL CHATTER."
The chatter is getting to me already after 3 years so Im saving up for another set up. The JWT is an awesome setup but the chatter is hard to take for some people.
But yes with that type of setup you usually need more gas to come out and yes coming out you will hear it or at idle.
Good luck.

so that griding sound is clutch chatter? or the flywheel? thats amazing cause it's really really loud and you can hear it outside of the car when it's at idle or when your moving in the low rpms. But why would it feel like the sound is coming from the tranny though?

Thanks for the comments everyone. Looks like after driving it around alil more the cement truck sound has toned down and it's not as bad. Guess I was worried for no reason.

so why GL-5 in the trany? did you hear that it is bad for colored metals that are used in it?
