Default Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer

Well....I heard that this stuff might actually help with the valve ticking issue i have on my 04. Was told to change the oil...put some new Mobil 1 along with a quart of the stabilizer. Anybody have any feedback on this stuff?? Have got 48K miles worth of dry starts on my car...Could this be the ticking? A lil help for a brutha'???

Lucas is an addative package. I wouldn't mess with an oils addative package. I would simply use a higher viscocity.
