Default Transmission / shifting

Hey guys, another newbie question...

I have a manual 03 touring Z, and I bought it used working great and stuff, but one day I noticed when I would change gears, it would jerk after I would shift. I know its supposed to be smooth when you transition from one gear to another, but its really jumpy. Does this sound like a common thing or do you think I should take it in for service? Please help. Thanks.

you sure its your transmission, maybe its just your driving? wait a few days, and see if it still jerks, but if your really paranoid, just get a check up.

Trust me, I've been driving stick for 12 years, it's not my driving. Like I said, it started smooth, but now it's starting to jerk. Everyone knows their car, if something is not right, you can tell the difference.
