Default Fuel Pressure

Just a quick rookie question rguarding fuel delivery.

If I was to slap a Walbro in now I realize my fuel pressure would increas, and my A/F would be off. I don't NEED the extra fuel right now so can I not just put a FPR in at the same time and turn it back down to stock?

I just figured I'd put a new pump in while doing the rest of the work.

Cheers guys.

Actually the FP would not change unless you remove the stock FPR.
