use a blow dryer or some heat gun, heat up the sticker or whatever and re attach....

Not sure but it might work.

Heat it like others have said, then use 3m double stick tape on the outside , and see if will get enough grip to pull it out it.

Then goo gone for the outside residue.

Good Luck.

Edit.. Had another thought. Strong vacuum, on the face of the plate until it cuts off any air flow in. then try to remove.

just start and run the car for a while. if it is the early version of the cap the emblem will just fall off (like so many have done unintentionally before). you do get what you pay for though. just be sure to use a dab of gorilla glue to reattach it this time
