Default Rb26?

I've been looking at the possibility in installing a RB26 into my 350z, I know this has been a subject that is often seen around the forums here but just wanted to get some advice...I've been to many local performance shops that specialize in motorswaps and VQs, and some dont even want to take on the challenge. I'm not interested in keeping my AC or cosmetic parts. Even if it came down to a rally or GT inspired interior with the instruments either in the "on" or "off" position to make it easier to have the electronics function in the z from the RB power plant might be a consideration. I'm also aware that Top Secret did a similar swap, and I've seen the vid on YouTube of this as well...Realistically speaking, if I had a simple instrument cluster designed, and removed some motor components for a clean swap and install...can this be done on a budget? **Also, would need an rb25 tranny for the RWD** Any advice is much appreciated! Cheers!

swapping to lose a full liter of displacement? dumb. yeah yeah they can take more boost but theres no replacement for displacement, torque is important.
