does anyone make a carbon fiber driveshaft for the Z/G?

they made them for the awd 3/s car and it was a great mod for 1000bucks.

just curious as to who if anyone makes one

Seriously, you guys need to read up on your Z... I shake my head at people "upgrading" OEM parts with cheaper made aftermarket parts like wheels and exhausts.

^^ 2nd post here....waayyy too much Gran Turismo for Mr. Yogurt. Yogurt, you should been watching Best Motoring Z shock DVD. That'll give you some knowledge of the workings of the Z.

 

At first I thought they were going to be like you got punked. Then realized it was real

 

I had one for my 3kgt-was a great mod! Made it one solid piece. But yeah....op needs to do some research!

 

Stock for Z's, I dunno any company that mass produces carbon fibre/1 piece aluminum lighter driveshafts for the G, since the G's driveshaft is longer than the Z's.

Of course, custom work is possible, but requires taking out your oem driveshaft, sending/taking it someowhere for them to fab up a ligther c/f driveshaft.

I was considering this, as OCg35 pointing it out to me, but I didn't want to be a guinea pig.

U Z guys get the best parts!

edit: The z's driveshaft is still "2-piece" correct?, I know companies like driveshaft shop offer lighter weight "1 piece" driveshafts. Dunno if it would make much of a difference though.
