Since I added the Stillen Dual Exhaust I seem to be getting better milage. On a 340 mile trip I averaged about 28MPG's doing a steady 75-80MPH...
Have you all experienced decent milage?

That sounds about right. I did a little road trip of about 700 miles and I got about 24 mpg and averaged around 105 mph. So 28 mpg doing 75-80 mph seems right.

Am I the only one who gets a pathetic 16.8 mpg with combined highway/street driving ? It's ridiculously low... and I've tried several brands of gas.. it doesn't seem to matter how aggressive or calm I drive either.. I can keep it around 3k rpm and still get that shitty mileage.

slay, that is rather low. I usually get like 19 in city only driving, but you say you get 16.8 with some highway driving. I usually get a combined average of around 21-22 mpg. On the highway, I get around 27-28 mpg at 80mph with stock exhausts. It does depend on how many miles you have on your car, I have like 7500 miles. I run at around 2500 rpms most of the time.

Just went out to my car, with 218 miles on this tank of gas, I have 22.0 mpg at 35 mph. That is pretty normal for me, but I use neutral a little more than most on occasion.

Last two tanks have been 26.1 & 26.5 MPG at 36 & 37 MPH. I travel 60 miles round trip on mostly highway but have lots of traffic slowdowns.

I have NEVER reset my computer since new. I will have 6000 miles on the Z when I get home from work today. My MGP has gone UP EVERY tank of Gas I put in her. I'm currently at 24.7 mpg with an average speed of 44 mph. (Can you tell I do a LOT of Highway driving?)

I also check my MPG manually every fill up. The WORST I have ever had was 19.8 (and that was on the tank when I did my Dyno runs and City driving)... The BEST I had so far was 26.4

I usually get between 21 and 23mpg. It's my daily driver, and unfortunately my work is 50 miles from home (in dense Seattle traffic -- this isn't a high-speed cruise). So they are mostly highway miles where highway speed varies between 50 and 75mph, along with the occasional high-speed pass.

Why is my damn MPG lower than everyone else ?
Just depends on where and how you drive. Take it out for a 200 mile highway drive and I'll bet you see better mileage.

I've found that the trip computer can be wrong by about 1-2 mpg. I always just divide the number of miles I've gone by the number of gallons I fill it up with, just make sure you start with a full tank. I get about 24-25 mpg with mostly freeway miles. With a mix of freeway and street I get about 19 mpg.

I normally get about 19.7-20.5 mpg. My trip to work is only 12 miles, and is on mostly back roads, so my average speed is normally around 30mph.

I just checked my computer and I'm currently at 21.9 with 34mph.

Oh yeah, that was just assumed. :-) The trip computer is just an estimate.

I enter my fill-ups in my Palm every time I fill, and it tells me how many MPG I got between each fill-up.

am I the only one that gets 30-32 MPG on long highway trips? In addition, I was getting crappy city gas mileage until I saw in the manual the recomended shift speeds. They are very small. at 33 mph you should shift into 6th according to the manual! if you shift like they tell you to, you can get 20+ on the city.

19.2 mpg / 42 average mph on my last tank of gas.... My drive to work accounts for most of the miles (10 miles each way), which is basically open highway where I drive 75-95 mph each way. When I'm on regular city streets I drive the hell out of it. You could say I drive "aggressively", I like to get to the speed limit or slightly over as fast as I can It gets floored from nearly every light and every corner. If I'm getting 19.2, either my highway commute is doing some serious compensating or I still get decent mpg at WOT.
