I just got the recall done, and now its hard to shift into 6 gear. Gears 1 through 5 are nice and smooth, but the 6 gear requires some extra force . I don't remember 6 gear being like this prior to the recall. Any suggestions?

 

If you press down on the shifter (as if you're trying to get into reverse) does it get any easier? If so, they didn't adjust the shifter gate properly.

 

which year did they do the slave cylinder recall on?

 

one thing you can do is refab the slav by macking the arm about 3mm longer and it would go in to 6th easy.
