Default 235.5 rwhp seems weird?

Hey guys, I recently had my Z dynoed and was a little disappointed. The numbers I received were: 235.5 rwhp & 197.9 ft/lbs at 6250 rpm. The dyno was taken on a DYNOmite dyno machine.

The car is a 2005 5AT VQ35DE
My engine mods are:

Nismo CAI
HKS Hi Power
Helix Test Pipes
Performance Grounding Kit

Please give me some feedback!

kind of low but the car still looks fast. Honestly, I would just push the pedal down harder.

It's because it's automatic.

Nissan equipped the auto Z/G's with 260hp motors instead of the 286.

Wow, the older auto Zs have less power? I've got an '06 5AT and it dynoed 253 whp bone stock. :\ Maybe it needs to breathe better... Try CAI and exhaust.

ask them how your Z's dyno compared to other Z's. maybe that dyno is just naturally low.

I've thought about it, but this summer I'll be powdercoating them. Currently they're all stained and dirty, but it's not worth the effort of cleaning them at the moment.

Sand blasting > cleaning

ya deff do that than...back to topic though, I think the dyno numbers must be too low. With those mods and trim you shouldn't be putting down such low power...I could be wrong.

To the OP, don't fret over low dyno numbers. Try a different dyno.

ALL dynos read different, some are a lot lower, and some are a lot higher.
