Default Engine dampers

Can anybody recomend an engine damper that doesn't fall apart? I have heard that the Stillens are esentially the same as the ones on Ebay and they are hit and miss with how long they last.

+1 there was very little if any difference. ingalls makes a pretty gangster one though.. makes the engine look nicer too.

I've got a Weapon-R engine damper. Doesn't look as nice as the Ingalls, but it's made a night & day difference for me...

Looks like it'd just mask any problems with the motor mounts and introduce undue stress to the shock tower.

Is it a bigger waste than your grounding kit?

Sorry couldn't resist

Ha ha. Lol~ Could very well be. :-)

If you do get a dampener, just don't get the ones that mount to the plenum. I think in the long run those might cause leaks at the plenum with the vibration, torquing back & forth, etc...
