Default Innovate LC-1 Help!!!

ok so i just wired my LC-1 and everything works fine... the gauge is running and have everything setup. i didnt wire the LED light because i couldnt figure how to wire it, but i did calibrate it. i did the timing right cuz i added like 5 seconds extra and then touched the calibrate wire and ground together for 3 seconds....but my gauge still shows 22.4 as A/F ratio. anyone know what this problem maybe? anyone ever experience this?

Sorry I don't have the answer for you. But where did you mount the LC-1? Having such short cables on the O2 Sensor you basically have to have the LC-1 down by the exhaust. Pretty stupid design if you ask me.

yes its mounted by the exhaust......i have it zip tied to the rear crossmember for the transmission...so there is easy access to it.

I'm mounting mine tomorrow with the xd-16 gauge. I'll be mounting the lc-1 on the transmission crossmember as well. My question is where did you guys choose to run your wires through? Also what power source did you use? I'll be mounting my gauge in the cuby hole.

i ran mine by the shifter.....if you take apart the center console, take off the rubber cromets you will see perfect access to undercarriage. then i just cut a minor chuck out of the metal part that holds down the rubber so the wires can fit through it and add some silicone and you'll be set. then just run the aux (in - out) wires under the console between the carpet and keep all the wires under the shifter for less wiring visible.

ok so i fixed the problem.....my dumbass didnt realize that i have to have my laptop plugged in with the serial in cable to my usb port in order for the gauge to show a/f ratio.

weird huh?

well in that case...im just curious if anyone has a log or know their a/f ratio with my mods or similar readin from the passanger downstream. mine is anywhere from 15 - 17.....and when i go up to 3k it shows like 12-13.....seems right, riiiight?

any help would be great!

I feel dumb with my first 3 posts being replies to threads about lc-1 stuff...but nobody else is replying...

14.7 is stoich. I don't know what a safe range for a Z is, but my vq30 is being tuned for around 13-13.5 and I haven't had any knocking. With that said, 12 may be slightly rich, but I certainly wouldn't want to be running in the 15-17 range...lean! Get to a dyno and see what AFR yields the best power while keeping it rich enough to avoid knocking.
