Screwed by dealer
So I dropped my 03 350z off and they took the tranny out so the inspector could look.
Good- Clutch looks brand new, not even any dust on it. The bearing on the shaft has ALOT of play, like at least 1/16 of an inch, still making noise, etc.
The bad- The mechanic said it had almost no fluid, or at least it is very low. Pulled the plug with me there, oil looks very dark, burned up, its friggin ATF fluid, and I have an MT.
So now i am worried that the inspector for the warranty claim is gonna pull some **** that because it has ATf fluid that is caused all these problems, which is impossible to be my fault because i have only put 5k miles on it, and I think the dealer put the fluid in there when they did the clutch. I havnt touched any of the fluid, so i am scared shitless that this is gonna blow up.
BTW I did not buy this from a Nissan dealer, bought it from a well known used car dealership.
ANybody help shed some light or what I can do if this goes south?
