Default Another lsd question

I have a base model 04 currently so its not having any lsd at all. I just started to do some lapping and it sucks hard. I'm drifting all the corner or almost (1 wheel) and i lost a big bunch of time. I'm looking for an upgrade but i dont want to spend a fuc**** bunch of money (800$+) for a lsd. Do i have some options? Would the oem vlsd good for this or not?

thanks
Kevin

Nismo lsd should be in that price range. It's and adjustable 1.5 way and I think read somewhere it can be made into a 2 way.

I'ts not the most civilized option (rough and noisy) but with a change to motul fluid its pretty tolerable for street driving and will work well on the track. I use it for street driving and I don't find it to be bothersome. The stock vlsd will not be ideal for track use.

the only real option you have is to either wait for some ridiculous special a shop is running (install is the same cost as the unit itself) or buy a used one.

I was able to get a complete pumpkin with a Nismo LSD for 700 bucks and then sold my stock open diff for 150 or something like that. swapping the diff is a 1 hour job or so. just research whoever is selling the unit to try and verify abuse, who installed it, mileage, etc.
