They checked everything for me. Only charged me 55 bucks. With full synthetic oil change too. You think I should reset the ecu if so how? Or you think I should pretty much drive it off

I will reset it when I get off work.shouldn't hurt any I guess. It doesn't seem to smoke as much yesterday smoke would come out when I got on it. And a real lot came out when I was at a stop. Now it seems it only is coming out when I'm stopped. But not as much I think. Oil pressure gauge is working correctly again.

Well I understand that but there was not a problem before hand. I would just like the issue resolved. That last comment
(repost) does no help. Thanks

Could just be a bad oil pressure sensor. They're like 80 bucks and they're right near the oil filter.

well, after the oil change the oil pressure is fine it seems, however it still smokes like a son of a gun, someone said the smoke is from burnt oil, so pretty much they think the car is burning alot of oil, told me to put the old cats on because they obviously were holding back the smoke...what do you guys think? put the old cats on tomorrow? or wait a few more days?

I had the same problem couple months ago, I used to have SGP test pips on my Z but didn't like the rasp noise so I was told to get resonated test pipes..I got a set and the noise was gone but that when the car started smoking when I gas it and when I come to a stop but on idle there was no smoke at all..I cut it short and put the stock cats back on and now I'm smoke free and the sound seems to be much better.
Last week I noticed that my oil pressure was very low after doing a Mobile-1 synthetic oil change with less than 2000 miles on it, I check the level it was way low that I had to add a quart and now I know that Mobil-1 is not the same as it used to be so I'm switching to Castrol Edge synthetic oil in couple of days.
Good luck with everything Mikerosa

thank you for everyone for your help and time, i really appreciate it, i am putting the stock cats back on this friday, the smoke is to crazy, idk if its something with the car but hopefully going back to stock cats makes it not smoke, i am selling the resonated test pipes if anyone wants them, funny my oil pressure dropping was when it had mobile1 in it also....maybe i will save up and get some high flow cats and headers or something.

Ok...so cats are back on for a few days now, last night i noticed the oil light came on and the gauge was acting up again, im thinking maybe the valves or soemthing or bad...or could it be that im using syntehtic oil now and maybe the previous owner did not? because when i first bought it i did not see any probs with the gauge or anything, i think when they changed it they did not use sythentic???? arghhhh
