what the F**K ... I was stranded
So I bought a new nissan throttle body and installed it. Well it ran great, so I decided to go out and grab some grub. Well I turn the car off, go in to buy some food, come out and turn it back on and I have a check engine light, vhs light and slip light on. I had to drive home at 5mph. There is no response when I give it gas or anything. I mind as well put the other one back on although it has no reponse at full throttle. What the F**K?
Does the car have to be reprogrammed after a throttle body install?

Sounds like your car went into limp mode. My guess is that there maybe you were supposed to reset your ECU or something? Really not sure, all I can say is that your car went into limp mode, as my friends did the exact same thing (but not after a t-body install). Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in and help you out.

I tried the ecu reset by pumping the thottle, etc. Still nothing. Maybe I should try to disconect the battery again? Do new throttle bodies need to be programed to the car through nissan?

Same thing happened to me after my original went out.The new one lasted about 2 weeks so i returned it got another one and its been fine for the last 3 months.
When my second one went out i would disconnect the battery for a couple minutes then reconnect and it would drive fine for about a mile........then did it all over again.

did u replace the entire throttle body assembly, including sensor?
When my tb sensor pooped out at 6k miles, the dealer replaced the entire throttle body assembly, even though the sensor was the only thing wrong. Apparently the tb sensor can be tricky. Are u in warranty?

you need to perform the throttle body reset procedure as described in the factory service manual (if you search there might be threads on how to do it). These are drive by wire throttle bodies, not a std mechanical one, so it needs to be reprogrammed per the manual.

Im going to try and reprogram the throttle position. Is there a website or is it turn key on wait x seconds turn off, etc? I replaced the whole unit. It was a simple bolt one. I did have the neg battery disconnected during install too.
It was amazing because the car was driving like a porche. Turned it off then I have a christmas tree on my dash.

do a search, you might find the procedure posted. If you are going to be doing any work to the car, you really should get a factory service manual. You can buy them on cd rom on ebay

On the way home from having the TT's installed my CIL cam on. I thought it was from the test pipes. After getting it checked it was throwing 2 codes, P2100 Throttle Control Motor Relay & P2101 Electric Throttle Control Function. I reset the codes and they popped back on after a few seconds. The car runs fine though. Wonder if resetting it would help.

? you were already told here resetting the ecu would not do anything
someone even posted the reset procedure for you too
there is 1 way to fix it...if you don't do it, it won't be fixed

put the original throttle body back on, put dielectric grease on the plus, sprayed the mass air meter down with cleaner and did the procedure. Car runs allot better.Throttle is crisp and responsive. Will see how it is tomorrow. The new throttle body must have been DOA.

I fiured it out! The problem was I put LED taillights on the car and it was screwing up the voltage throughout the whole car! I put the stockers back on and no issues. Took 2 months to figure out! I read anothe member here had the same issue. It feels great to have the car back to normal! Thanks
