Default Borla HP loss Clarification

I just recieved box one of my Borla TD. I've been reading alot of threads on here and I see that early on there was some people saying that there was a HP loss with the earlier produced systems. Can someone please clarify this and if it is true does anyone know the date when they changed the system to fix this problem. BTW the Date of production on mine is 6-6-03.

Thanks

How about, they still make both and the dual exhaust is the one that makes power and the single doesn't make much if any. Which do you have? The date is irrelevant.

there is Borla Catback and Borla TRUE Catback

The "true" version is the one you want. You can always send yours back to them and trade it for a True, they should be able to accomodate you

Actually both versions are "cat. back" however one is a dual (with a cross over) and the other merges to a single pipe and then splits again at the exhaust.
