NA Build in Mid 300s?

In order to make 350rwhp, it would require a stroker, heads, cams and a capable intake manifold(cosworth) for higher rpm capabilites. It would be cheaper to go with a supercharger, if thats all your looking for

I was just wondering if anyone has done all that, I've searched but haven't seen any mid to high whp builds. Most people go turbo or supercharger and I know all about all that, I was just wondering the cost versus the power for na and if na is worth it.

Hope you not

And Here is my answer for your Question: Yes it is possible.

I was thinking of doing a tomei build (272 cams, valve springs, rods, gaskets, studs) If i did go na, seems like a fun project to dive into
No offense but from the questions your asking I honestly am going to advise you to save yourself the trouble and just slap a turbo on your car and call it a day.
Building an NA motor is a long and tedious project. Especially when you are trying to accomplish what so far what only race teams have accomplished since the inception of this car (as far as I know).
I can promise you that you could do a complete build off the entire Tomei VQ35 parts catalog and you will not reach anywhere remotely within 350rwhp.

Jeremy at the Performance Factory build an NA VQ35 that dyno'd at 305 rwhp. He lost interest in it and went turbo later on, but that was an interesting engine. There was still a lot of horsepower left to be gained in it.
I'm just getting started on an NA build at the Performance Factory that will extend some of the technology Jeremy discovered while building his NA motor. Although I have high hopes for this engine, I'm not expecting it to produce 350 rwhp. I am looking forward to the day I can zing it through the gears with my 4.08 rear end, though!
There is a small group of dedicated normally aspirated VQ35 fans here on my350z. We like them because they are more responsive, more fun to drive, and somewhat unique in the Z and G world. You'll have to listen to the majority of my350z FI people parrot that FI is the only way to go, but NA engines rock! Good luck with yours if you decide to build one.
I'm also one of those NA enthusiasts. Getting ready for my build too. I'll be quite happy with NA 300+whp and a set of gears... And more importantly, knowing I have a fairly reliable setup. :-)
Listening to the FI guys brag about getting 30k miles out of their motors before they go BOOM, or how they're always fixing this or that on a daily basis before they go BOOM is unacceptable to me...

All I know is Adam's car with the redline set at 8400rpms and the 320rwhp he is putting down is a blast to drive with the 3.9s. If your thinking it suffers on the top end, trust me it doesn't. It has more than enough room to rev out.

It was just nice enough seeing one of my favorite Zs of all time. So that means I'm getting a ride in both of ya'lls Zs next year

Although I am interested to see what you've got cooking though with your build.

Come to think of it you might be one of few people I know who will fit in my passenger seat comfortably now that I have the Kirk roll bar installed.
