I'm wondering how much of a difference there is between the upshift delays with our cars... guess it doesn't really make a difference though probably nothing I can do about it.

Any way some of you can record video of some of your full throttle action so I can get an idea what i'd be getting. I wish there was someone here in my area who already had the mod but there's only a few other Z guys here on the forums that are in my area and they all have 6MT's i'm sure.

I have a 2003 g with the forged performance v/b(when they were doing them) and when your getting on it it shifts faster then a 6mt driver can.

It shifts faster! End of story. A must do upgrade! I kid you not, but my car seems quicker.

+1

I'm looking to get the GTM VB upgrade and I'm wondering if this is something the dealer will be able to install?

Any good reputable tranny shop should be able to do this upgrade once you have the kit. Or you can take the oem VB out and ship it to GTM or SGP and let them install the kit.

you probably dont want to take it to a dealer (they probably coudltn do it anyway) cause it might not be warranty friendly.

+1 Buy the kit and bring it to a tranny shop that does beef jobs. I found my mechanic on craigslist and he did an awesome job! GTM is the Transgo kit
