I believe most folks remove the front assembly and lift it out with a cherry picker.
Or you can put the car on a lift, remove the cross-member and drop the motor from the bottom.

Taking the front off and using a cherry picker is super easy, time consuming, but easy.

Yep out the front, and remove the hood.

Also, don't try to pull the engine with the cats attached, if you still have them. Believe me, its not worth the trouble.

I am about to install a built engine with an APS twin turbo kit. Any comments on "is it easier to put the motor back with the turbos off, or is OK to drop the engine in with turbos installed"
