Default My Borla Impression + Questions

So I finally got my Borla true duel installed yesterday. The work was done at a local speed shop. Everything went great with the fit except the left side chrome tip was about 1/2 inch out further than the right so I had them adjust it. The total time to install the system was 1 hr 15 min. The cost was $50.00. The tech told me if the system moves over the next month or so to come back and he'll adjust it.
The Tech got in and started the car. My initial responce along with his is that there was barely any sound difference. He reved it and it was louder and deeper than the stock exhaust but not that much.I wasn't expecting Fart can loud just a deeper louder sound. After reading alot of threads on here is it true that the Borla takes a few hundred miles to "Break in" before you get the true sound?
I really didn't get to drive it that much after the install because there was a storm coming and I wanted to get home. I did have a chance to "get on it" though and I didn't notice any change in performance. This could have been due to the fact that where I "got on it" was only about a mile from the speed shop and maybe the ECU didn't adjust correctly yet. I hope that was the case. I know there shouldn't be a big difference but I'm hoping for some.
Overall I'm glad I got the system just for the looks, I was hoping for a little louder sound and a little difference in performance. Hopefully these will come in the next 100 miles.
If anyone with the Borla True Duel has any comments please leave them.
Thanks

I just put mine in this past Saturday and the difference in sound was immediate. Not so much louder but deeper and stronger when you get on it. I spoke with Dave Borla on Friday and he mentioned as others have that it takes time for the baffle materials to break-in in order for the true sound to come out. Takes about 100 miles. Be patient and listen to the exhaust. I've had a tendency to leave the stereo off lately just to listen to it.
