Thumbs up Buying a "mixture of mods" vs. Waiting for a "reliable complete package"

This is just my opinion, but I think that someone is going to come out with a reliable performace package sooner or later. The "Z" is still new and a lot of people are trying to make money off the hipe of the "Z". Once you start adding all of these mods from a whole bunch of different companies, you may run into problems and will always be working on your car. I prefer to wait til the dust settles and see if someone will come out with the "COMPLETE PACKAGE." I'm sure they will have different levels too (ie: 325HP Kit, 350HP Kit, and the 400HP Kit).

What do you think?

Yeah, it is always good to have a plan on WHAT you want to do with the car rather than just adding a bunch of parts. Packages are a great way to do this and hopefully soon someone may offer this. I have gone with the complete Borla exhaust, headers and cat back plus UR pulley and an AEM intake. While these are 3 different manufacturers, they all meet my goal of a NA motor. Next summer I am looking at a blower. By then there should be a better selection. Not that what is available now may not be the best but, it is always good to let the aftermarket catch up and fully develop the products that they offer.

In conjunction with LSDunique and(Kinetix), thats what we are looking to do in the near future. The package will consist of a CAI, Plenum, Headers, Exhaust, Grounding Kit, and a preprogrammed Piggyback computer tuned exactly for those mods... I will be testing the individual parts and dybo tuning with a wide band o2.. Stay tuned as we are very excited about the possiblities...
