Noob Question about RevUp...
Yeah, I searched for the topic, I am sorry... I know it has been asked a million and a half times... but what exactly is RevUp?
I am picking up my Interlagos Fire 2006 tomorrow, and I would like to know what the heck makes the RevUp special (besides its apparent thirst for the oil).
Thank you!

Wow.......
you def should have known this before buying a car, but it is as follows:
1. 03-05 non-rev up meaning not set for go past 6500 rpms
2. 06 is a rev-up for its set to 7K
3. 07-08 HR dual intake and i think its 7200rpms.

Yeah, i know I should have known it. I knew everything you posted there, but why can it rev higher? Is there different cams, or retuned Valve timing? Or does it have variable exhaust timing as well as intake or was that the HR? I am confused.
Also, i checked the wiki, and didn't find anything on the specifics of the RevUp. I apologize, I would just like to know the specifics.

The rod bolts are a different P/N and are 'beefier' therefore it gets to rev higher. It also has VTC on the exhaust cam. It has a different intake manifold.
BTW, HR = 7500 RPM and a different topic altogether.
