Default Wiring issue

Alrighty, so I wanted to see if i can get some insight/help on a wiring issue i believe. This is regarding the Knock sensor. I had a Knock sensor code, so I replaced the knock sensor. The code is still showing after being cleared and install of the new sensor. I follow the wiring for the knock sensor back to ECU and see no Visible damage to the wiring or harnesses. I wanted to know if its possible that the "tab" that connects the wiring from the sensor to the wiring that leads back into the car is a possible issue? I noticed that its really exposed. I also washed my engine bay several times and this issue hasn't came up until after I started washing the engine for a car show. Is it possible that the tab is bad???? any other ideas as to what part of the wiring to be concerned about for the knock sensor not working? any fuses? grounding points? any help would be appreciated thanks! - Brandon
