Default Does anyone knows what brands make good LSD?

What's up everybody, I am super new to car, and really try to learn here.

I just recently read over some posts saying that the base Z doesn't have LSD, so i am considering to get one. Since I am really new to cars, I don't really know what brands make good LSD, so I would like everybody out there to help me out on this one. Please give me both of import and domestic LSD, so I can take some note about the LSD.

Thank you so much.

For the street Cusco has a 1.5:1 way diff that works well from the research I have done. That's what I plan to change my diff for.

What are your goals/plans for the car?

FWIW we are big fans of the Cusco RS LSDs here at the shop. We currently have one car running them and plan on installing another one in the other shop car soon.

You've got:
Quaife...they are pricey but come with a lifetime warranty
Cusco...Great all around
Carbonetics...Also Pricey and Delicate since carbon must be pampered with a lot of oil changes to preserve the carbon material.. Sweet engagement though.
Kaaz...Lower end (cheap), but gets the job done
OS Giken..Also a bit pricey, but you can't get much more JDM than that. Top quality.

All the clutch style LSD's have higher maintenance requirements...mainly due to more frequent oil changes. That said, nothing beats the feel of a locking clutch style LSD on a circuit course, or some tight twisties.

Quiafe would be my choice for mostly street driven cars, since its seamless in operation, and requires nothing special or extraordinary in terms of maintainance or oil changes.
