Default 3.3 lsd in my 04 performance 6 speed...

How can it be done? Ive searched without luck. What do I need to do(and where can i find)a 3.3 ring/pinion and what aftermarket diff with they go in? Im going big turbo and need the highest gear ratio(lower number for those who dont know) also how would i go about calibrating the speedo? If someone wants to trade with what ive got(not sure what comes in my car its an 04 350z performance 6 speed with VLSD)

it is easier to get a 3.3 differntial, or if you have the 3.3 gears and an auto lsd with axle stubs then you can swap the insides but you will also need to have it built right with the right shims. the speedo reads off the cv axles so no need to calibrate.

do you know what gears come in my car stock? Maybe I can find someone to do a trade. Also, since its an auto LSD, what aftermarket diffs would fit that?

3.9's are for n/a only. add boost and your gears are useless

My first gear is so short.. I wonder if steping down from the 3.5 to the 3.3 will really make a big enough difference for the work.

any LSD that works on an automatic would work on the 3.3 - but it has to be an automatic spec LSD, as they are different from manual ones. I know Cusco for example, offers an LSD specifically for automatics

Quiafe offers one for auto's as well - those are the only 2 I know of that work with an auto:

Cusco: http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...ine&prodid=518

Is it possible to make the cusco a 1.5way? Also, is that for the factory VLSD/auto setup?
