Replacing Flywheel: Will R-Tuned Nismo Work
Hi,
My clutch went bad. They took a look at it and said that the flywheel is bad too. The OEM flywheel costs about $900 bucks; however, I found a Nismo version selling for about half of that: http://www.leeparts.com/nissan_350z/..._flywheel.html
My question is: Will this thing work on my car?
If you look at the link you can find the following: "R-Tune components are intended for off-road applications only"
What in the HECK does that mean? A Z off road?!!?!? Anyway, I first took the car in to Nissan and they were talking $3000. There is no way that I am sinking that kind of money into a car that I won't be driving in 2 years.
So I am taking it to a local shop that I trust and they are talking $1500. I have a 2003 performance model.
Thanks for any help that you can provide.
