Default solid motor mounts install

i got a set of solid motor mounts, and read somewhere that the motor doesnt have to be pulled to do this (did a search, couldnt find it). anybody have a diy or link to the original thread? thanks!

I believe the motor can jus be lifted using a big jack. make sure its on a solid part, do not lift the motor from the oil pan.
There is no need to pull the motor.

jack it from where tho? the oil pan i know would be retarded as hell lol. more towards the front end??

^ cherry picker and straps. I've seen it done on most engines that way.

The engine will need to be lifted or at least held in place, if you need more room to get them in you can lower the lower eng cradle a bit to get clearance.

You use a flat board the size of the oil pan and jack that up carefully.

+1 I have held up many motors with a screw jack and a piece of 2x4, although never did it on the 350z.
