Default Strange grinding when turning?

Never experienced this before, and thought it'd be drivetrain related. Mods move it if it isn't.

Today I noticed that when I take a sharp right turn, my car emits a sound like a stick mixing up a bunch of marbles in a jar.

Pretty loud, and I'm sure the sound can't be good.

The car is an 03 at 69015 miles. Manual transmission. Aftermarket wheels and tires. Nothing in the wheel wells has been changed, so I don't think it could be rubbing on anything.

I had the same problem with the same sounds. The ride and road noise was very bad as well. For me it wound up being the front drivers wheel bearing. I just changed them out and problem is resolved. Good Luck!

Hmm, would there be any other tests to check the wheel bearing?
