Does anyone know for sure if the 03-04 AUTO transmissions are the same as the 05+? I bought a stock one and it has one connector on it versus the other one which has 3 connectors on it.

 

yes. the newer ones allow for rev-matching in manual shift but i thought that was for the 07+ engines only. not heard of any difference/change with the 03-06 models. also what is this connector you are talking about?

03-04.5 are different than the 04.5+

 

Do you happen to know what the difference/s are between the two. I assume I got an 04.5 and not an 04. Is it possible to mod or change something on the 04.5+ to work for an 03?

 

I think the rev-matching started in 05.

 

My 04.5 rev-matches... but I think they improved it on the newer ones from what I heard.
