Default Those With Stillen Oil Coolers...What Filter?

I have a Stillen oil cooler and the only filter I can get to thread on the whole way is the ******** Fram. Tried the Mobile and Napa Gold. What sucks tonight is I had the Mobile on and I thought it was tight enough. Turned the car on and I lost all my oil. 4 quarts os Mobil1 and a quart of Lucas Synthetic ($17.00) sitting on my drivway. I was so pissed. Am I good running the Fram fro 3k miles or what filter are you guys able to thread on there?

I also have the stillen oil cooler... and use k&n filters (HP1008 or HP1010) with no problems...

The stillen kit comes with two different threaded inserts. You may need to swap them out if you can't get a standard filter to thread properly on the insert you're using.

Hmmm I only have the one filter insert. So can I get away with Fram performance wise or are they total crap?

J, can you get the m101 on? That's the filter for a crv. The bosch equivalent is the W0133-1638275. What is the fram part number? We can figure out what else it fits on, then go from there.

Yup. It's me I'm liking the z for sure. Still need more seat time to know the car. Jerry checked it for me since I he know's z's well. Before I bought it yours with the blower was the only one I had been in.

What is the part number for the fram? Maybe we can find the same filter from another company... No point in getting something else if you don't need it.

For those that don't know barzten he and his wife are some of the greatest and kindest people I've had the pleasure of knowing... And his z is absolutely sick

I use Mobil1 M108 filters no problem.

However, Stillen initially sent me the WRONG piece and it didn't fit at all. I don't remember which exact piece it was (this was over a year ago), but I had to call them and have them ship me the right piece. Maybe they need better quality control on their kits.
