Default Potential disaster?

oh crap....i just realized this potential disaster as I was writing on a previous thread....and now I'm compelled to start a new one to ask for serious guidance.

The workshop drained only about 4 quarts of ATF from my auto tranny...they claimed that that's all of it.......and then used some really cheap ATF to "flush" out the system with a pressure machine....and then refilled with genuine J-Matic. If its true that 10 quarts is needed for the total ATF change as stated in the manual, then that means only 4 quarts was managed to be drained out, and that means the cheap crap used to flush has now intermixed and diluted with the remaining 6quarts in the tranny.....and so I now have 10 quarts of good Nissan J-Matic diluted with cheap crap ATF in my tranny?

Update: Consulted a local Nissan mechanic today ......... and he did confirm that it is a disaster in the making if not corrected immediately. He confirmed that the cheaper stuff remains in ATF cocktail because it was pumped in, and definitely constitutes a significant amount of the 10quart ATF capacity to do damage because the final fill of J-Matic at the end of the flush was only 4 quarts! He told me to be prepared to see the idiot light on the dash within a month if I don't fix this immediately.

The crux of the problem lay in the fact that the workshop did not realize at first that the tranny ATF capacity is 10 quarts and NOT 4 quarts. In preforming the flush, the cheaper stuff was pumped into the 6 quart section of the torque converter, displacing the original J-Matic; the only way is to machine flush out with a significant amount of J-Matic again.

But the math of crap pumped in = displaced should have told them that it was 10 quarts, but I think they were afraid to admit it yesterday after realizing.

So I went back to the workshop today and they pumped in 16 quarts of fresh J-Matic using the tranny flush machine. Even still, there is definitely some residue left of the cheaper stuff according to the Nissan guy. I plan to do it again end of this month and next month, 4 quarts drain+refill each time.

Lesson I've learned: Never flush my 5AT tranny with cheaper stuff. Always flush with Nissan J-Matic.

But apparently its OK to flush the manual tranny with cheaper stuff, but not the 5AT.
