Which oil is better to use during colder months conventional or synthetic and why? thanks

 

i run amsoil 5w30 year round. but thats down here in the south.... id say synthetic tho

 

Definitely synthetic, in any type of weather conditions; all you gotta do is vary the viscosity classification. Access www.mobil1.com, dude.

just put in the German Castrol 0w-30 found at AutoZone. i sh*t you not, it feels different from the mobil 1 i have been using since i bought the car. i have an idle knock issue, and it has decreased significantly. maybe its related or maybe im retarded, but i like it.

 

AMSOIL 0w-30 100% Synthetic, hands down the best oil money can buy.

Mobil 1 0W-40 all year round. Its what my tuner recommends and I have read VERY good oil analysis reports regarding this oil from other boosted Z owners running it.
