Default Just Got Back From The Dyno.....

And I'm pissed.

Car made 254rwhp and 225rwtq. I'm ok with those numbers but what I cant figure out is why the hell I was running so lean!!!!

My A/F was 15ish until 5k rpms then at 6K it dropped to 13. I could hear the car pining in the higher rpm range. I run Shell 91 octane which is not bad gas.

Anyway, my mods are in my sig. I have about 5-6K on the new motor.

Not bad.

Isn't when you add test pipes you start to run lean? In your case, you have headers and exhaust..

So then I'm assuming that I will need some kind of tune? Like a reflash or getting an E-Manage and having a tuner do it huh?

You sir need an engine management badly. I don't think you are in danger and I think your numbers are good, but it wouldn't hurt to get a UTEC and get it finely tuned.

Damn I thought so. I always noticed pinging with my old motor at the higher rpms I just thought cause it was so hot in Vegas and maybe the gas was crappy but I would always run either Chevron or Shell 91 octane. Oh Well, Gonna get the Greddy Emanage now.

Their product is pretty easy to use, way i heard. Your number is pretty strong without tune, with good tune you might can pick up 10~15whp easily.

I can't wait untill i get the tune/dyno!!!
