Default What is a Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor?

I got a P1273 - Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 CEL a few weeks back. My Z is stock with nismo CAI, nismo exhaust. I have had the these mods done awhile back with no problem.

I went to Nissan to get a Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor and they said it is a heated oxygen sensor. I replaced that but the code P1273 still comes up? Is there any other components i need to check? With Vacuum leaks - Where would i start looking for it?

Any help is appreciated!

your car is not "stock" with those mods on it. you need to clear out the code yoruself or take it to nissan and have them do it

Well I'd would say his car is pretty close to stock. When I modified my exhaust and CAI it did'nt cause any 02 sensors CEL to go off. Go back to Nissan an tell them it isn't fixed.

I already resetted the ecu using the manual way of doing it via several websites like thru technosquare. The CEL still shows.. HELP! Do i have to take it to the dealership or do i still have a problem?

1) OEM AFR sensors are heated O2 sensors. If you have replaced yours @ Nissan take it back the them. They might give your crap about having an aftermarket exhaust system saying that you have an exhaust leak causing the problem. Don't believe it unless they can show you where the exhaust is
leaking.

It could be something as simple as loose connection on the O2 sensor.

2) If vacuum leaks were the problem, It almost always triggers a PO300 cel (random misfire)
