Where should I plug in my new gauges? Trans temp Air/Fuel and boost
I have a 04 Z with a vortex supercharger. I just bought some glow shift gauges and don’t really know where to cook up the sensors to get the best reading.
I bought an Air/Fuel one that is supposed to hook up to the ECU or an o2 sensor. Which is better? and if its the ECU what pin? or which o2 sensor?
Also have a trans temp, it came with a screw in sensor. Is there a spot on the transmission for it or do I have to make a fitting to tap into a line?
The last is the boost gauge. I'm sure I can figure that one out. But I have to move it from where it is now because it is not reading right. It’s maxing out at like 2psi. I think I just put it on the wrong vacuum line.
If someone could throw a little incite my way that would be great!

well, for trans temp i would guess find that fitting that allows you to mount it in the FILL plug hole location? i dont know if there is another spot? or if people have drilled and tapped the side of their tranny's?
autometer has them for m12x1.5 (2277) 1.75 (2278) and 1.0 (2266) you could call or e-mail them and ask if they have a 1.25 adapter?

\the a/f gauge from glowshift is pointless....it doesnt work.....its just a red needle that scrolls back and forth from lean to rich...lolol
but the install of that gauge is simple.....theres 2 wires, purple and yellow, i think are just the illuminating lights....one of the wires, i believe it was red, goes to the wire from the upstream o2 sensor, and the black is a ground. the o2 sensor wire you can find under the throttle body under the hood. its a bundle of wires that you can notice one you look there, and there is a green wire with a white stripe that you should splice into....thats the 5v supply wire that will show you the a/f ratio on the narrowband.
i did mine like a yr ago but got tired of it in like 2 weeks...so then i bought the lc1 from innovate...alot better.
