Well im really starting to get pissed off at this entire Final drive install and how much its really going to cost..I guess its worth it in the end! My 4.08 Gear is getting lonely sitting the garage while I figure all this out.

My car has 73k miles on it and the diff fluid has been changed twice since ive owned the car at 40k.

the car is strictly a STREET car and will never be tracked or autoX. Straight lines plain and simple. I dont need no high tech lsd for turning.

Do I need to change the Viscous LSD also???? Both tires spin great on pavement and leave tire marks as long as I want. It seems to be working fine.

If I can get away with another 50k miles on it then I sure as hell dont want to spend another 1k$ on this project.


If u do....whats the cheapest LSD for street use to put in??

For what you plan on using the car for there doesn't seem to be a need to upgrade. If you can leave two equal tire marks then the vlsd is working properly and there is no need to replace it.

The Nismo lsd is by far the cheapest aftermarket lsd. But, the big downside for most people is the noise that it tends to make.

I will have another pumpkin for sale in a week or two if the stress just gets to be too much for you
