Default Need your help decoding DTCs....

Anybody know how to decode dtcs just by counting the number of flashes during diagnostic testing? I'm taking my car to the dealer tomorrow but wanted to know if my initial assessment will match what their consult will produce.

Here's what I'm getting:
1st sequence: 10 slow flashes
2nd seq: 3 fast flashes
3rd seq: 10 fast flashes
4th seq: 10 fast flashes

My conclusion is that it's P0300 which is multiple/random cylinder misfire.

I am not sure about testing the codes but I have had that light before. It actually came on one night a couple of months ago at the track. The misfire happened at idle though according to the consult. The dealer rest it and said don't worry about it.....

Did the dealer hassle you about your mods? Or did you remove them first before taking your car in for service?

My car has been to the dealer many times with my mods. When I had that light, I had the Injen CAI, pulley, and some other little stuff, they didn't say a word.... I have a question for you, can you pm me with your contact info?
Thanks,
Jason
